The finish a woman chooses is often associated to one’s age, skin tone and lip shape. Every woman is so unique so through study, advice and trial and error we can learn what works best for us.
We hope you find the following lip makeup advice useful:
Steps for outlining your lips:
- Apply a small amount of foundation around the lip area before you start to provide a neutral base
- Draw your outline with a pencil to guarantee symmetry, starting at the central V of the cupids bow and drawing to each corner short, concise strokes.
- If you make a mistake do not panic. Use a Q-Tip with makeup remover to push the smudge inward onto your lip. Do not wipe it away.
- When your content with the outline you have made, fill in the whole lip with pencil and use a brush to make sure it is completely even
- Apply lipstick using a lip brush
For thick lips:
- Darker colors will make your lips appear smaller. Avoid very light shades as they can make your lips appear too full.
- Apply lipstick with a brush, moving the color to the center and swirling it out
- If your lower lip is thicker than your upper use lip liner on the lower to even it out
For Thin Lips:
- Use sheer shades. Dark colors make your mouth look more severe, while lighter shades will make your lips look fuller
- Use a lip liner that matches your lipstick
- For more of a pout add gloss at the center of your lower lip and press your lips together
